What is an app password? (Naver · Daum · Gmail)
For security, email providers issue an "app password" for third-party app connections instead of your regular login password. MailMail's onboarding screen guides you to each provider's app-password page (Naver, Daum/Kakao, Gmail). Paste the issued password to connect.
I can't connect.
Most issues are ① a typo/space in the app password, ② IMAP not enabled, or ③ a firewall on a company/self-hosted mail server. The onboarding connection diagnostics (DNS · TLS · login steps) tell you where it stopped, so follow the guidance for that step. If it still fails, email us above with your provider name and the step that's blocked.
It says "Apple Intelligence is required."
MailMail's AI summaries run entirely on your device (by design, so the body never leaves it). This requires an Apple Intelligence–capable device. On unsupported devices summaries won't run, and we intentionally provide no fallback that sends the body to the cloud.
I want to cancel my subscription.
You can cancel in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions by selecting MailMail. For refunds, see the Refund policy.
Is my email content safe?
Yes. Bodies, subjects, senders, and passwords never reach our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
